Day 1: City tour and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Our safari tour guides will pick you up from the airport and happily take you for a city tour depending on the time of your arrival. On arrival you will be amazed by the natural beauty of Rwanda characterized by a thousand hills. It’s such a dirt free city with welcoming people. En rout stopover will be made at genocide memorial centre at Gisozi, museums, hand craft shops, the Moslem Quarter in Nyamirambo, and other historical sites to experience Rwanda’s culture life style. Enjoy lunch en route and then after proceed to Volcanoes National Park a famous place for mountain gorillas and golden monkeys plus other species. On your way to the park you will have a glance on the scenic view and the gorgeous foot hills of the Volcanoes that make up Volcanoes National Park, arriving in the evening at the park. Check in to your desired Lodge/Hotel. Dinner and an overnight stay

Day 2: Gorilla tracking/Community walks:
Have a beautiful breakfast before heading to the rain forest to track the mountain gorillas. After breakfast, report to the park Headquarter and get briefed about the dos and don’ts while you are with the gorillas and also meet your park rangers. The experience is exciting as you’re going to meet these intelligent and huge apes for the group you booked for. Some level of physical fitness is required as the hike will involve passing through the thick and muddy forest and also ought to climb hills in order to have a glance at them. The activity is so tiresome but too satisfying as you will watch them doing their every day activities such as playing, mother feeding their young ones among others. Tracking is unpredictable as it can take about 1-8 hours depending on their movements and it’s recommended to carry with you Light rain gear, strong boots, drinking water, packed lunch and water, non flash cameras, long khaki or jean trousers and ounce found you are only allowed to spend one hour with them. After tracking come back to the lodge for relaxation and leisure.
