This 4 Day Gorilla & Wildlife Safari – Uganda Gorilla Trek Tour will take you to Uganda one of the few gifted countries that hosts the endangered mountain gorillas. You will track the gorillas in Bwindi impenetrable national park which is located in the south western part of Uganda and the after you will be transferred to queen Elizabeth national park a famous park for its tree climbing lions, enjoy game drives and launch cruise on the lakes George and Edward, then after you will drive back to Kampala
DETAILED TRIP ITINERARY
Day 1: depart to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
The safari will begin in Kampala Uganda’s capital and its largest city. Very early in the morning our safari tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation and then transfer you to the southwestern sector of Uganda up to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park for gorilla tracking. You will have a first stopover at the equator crossing for photography and snacks, then after you will proceed to Mbarara for lunch. After the one hour short break, you will continue through the beautiful scenery referred to as the ‘’Switzerland of Africa’’ will be a big sight as you cross the vast country side, you will arrive at the park in the evening either at Ruhija or Buhoma. Check into your accommodation for leisure. The evening will be reserved for leisure as you’re waiting for your most magnificent gorilla tracking activity the following day. Dinner and an overnight at: Gorilla Forest Camp or Mahogany Springs/ Buhoma community campsite, chameleon hill Lodge.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi
Following your early morning game drive will be a transfer to the park headquarters with your packed lunch and bottled water before 7:00am to receive short briefings from the park wardens about gorilla tracking and also get assigned to the gorilla family booked for. After, You will then set out to track the gentle giants through thick vegetation as you hike up and down slippery slopes, don’t forget your tracking gears like the sturdy pair of walking shoes and boots, long sleeved shirts and blouses and some levels of fitness is needed as meeting these apes is unpredictable it can go from a half to full day. Ounce in the forest be vigilant to listen to their vocal communication and follow them until you finally come across them. Ounce they are met you strictly allowed one hour while observing and learning their habits while taking photos. It is an extraordinary feeling to meet these apes just 7mters from you, after the activity head back to the lodge for relaxation. If you have the energy this afternoon, take a guided walk on the Munyaga River trail, which entails crystal clear waterfalls, a variety of flora, butterfly species and an array of birds. Or take a guided community walk among the Batwa inhabitants of the park. Dinner and an overnight at: Gorilla Forest Camp or Mahogany Springs/ Buhoma community campsite, chameleon hill Lodge.

After having your breakfast, proceed on a transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park, you will pass via the famous part of the park Ishasha sector and if lucky you may spot the tree climbing lions. other not avoid to spot animals include the antelope species like Kobs, Qazelles, and bush bucks, buffaloes among others. Arrive in time at the lodge for lunch and then in the afternoon enjoy a 2 hours boat cruise at the kazinga channel that connects lakes George and Edward while during the cruise, you will be rewarded with close range views of crocodiles, hippos, buffalos, elephants and a variety of birds like pelicans, African skimmer, African fish eagle and if lucky the shoe bill. After you will be transferred back to Kampala and later connect to Entebbe to meet your departure flight back home
