Day-by-Day Programme


Places to visit: Victoria Falls and Hwange. Hwange National Park is named after a
local Nhanzwa chief, and is the largest Park in Zimbabwe occupying roughly 14 650
 square kilometers. It is located in the northwest corner of the country about one hour
 south of the Mighty Victoria Falls.

Explore the Zambezi River whose source is in North Western Zambia and flows
approximately 2800km to its mouth in Mozambique into the warm Indian Ocean.
 The Zambezi is most famous for its falls:The Victoria Falls- one of the
7 natural wonders of the world and is arguably the greatest waterfall in the world

Day 1: Victoria Falls Airport

On arrival you will be met by a representative and transferred from Victoria Falls
 Airport to your hotel.

In the afternoon you will be picked up from the hotel for a Sunset Cruise on the
Zambezi River. The Zambezi River is the 4th largest in Africa after the
 Nile, Zaire and Niger respectively. The source is in North Western
 Zambia and flows approximately 2800km to its mouth in Mozambique into the warm Indian
 Ocean. It is a wide, attractive River dotted with islands and sandbanks and the
 stretch of River preceding the Falls is bordered on the Zimbabwean side by the
 Zambezi National Park. Relax and enjoy the riverine vegetation and the bird life
while you cruise past hippo and occasionally crocodile. Return to your hotel.

Day 2: Victoria Falls

After breakfast enjoy a guided Tour of The Falls. The Victoria Falls is one of the
 7 natural wonders of the world and is arguably the greatest waterfall in the world.
David Livingstone was the first European to visit the Falls and named it after Queen Victoria.
 The local name is perhaps more descriptive - Mosi oa Tunya
 (meaning the Smoke that Thunders). This spectacle occurs when the tranquil
expanse of the Zambezi River plunges over a chasm 1708 metres wide and 103 metres deep,
 creating a shower of spray and a deafening noise.

The rest of the day is at leisure for optional activities.

Day 3: Victoria Falls

Day at leisure for optional activities such as helicopter flight,
Chobe day trip, rafting, bunji jumping, jetboat, elephant/horse rides, game drive etc.

Overnight at Rainbow Hotel, Victoria Falls on Bed and Breakfast Basis.


Day 4: Victoria Falls - Hwange National Park

After breakfast, you will be transferred by road to Hwange Main Camp.
The road distance is 200km and takes approximately two and a half hours.
From Hwange Main, you will be transferred in an open game-viewing vehicle to camp.

Overnight at Hwange Safari Lodge on Fully Inclusive Basis.


Day 5: Hwange National Park

Full day of game activities in Hwange National Park.
Overnight at Hwange Safari Lodge on Fully Inclusive Basis.


Day 6: Hwange -Victoria Falls Airport

After breakfast a game drive to Hwange Main Camp where you will meet your transfer 
vehicle that will take you back to Victoria Falls airport for your onward flight.
