HIGHLIGHTS

Duration: 6 Days trekking; 4 and a half days ascending, 1 and a half days descending.
Length: 100 km/62 mi total; 62 km/38 mi to summit; 38 km/24 mi descend from summit

Description:

Referred to as the "Whiskey route", it is better suited for the more adventurous hiker

Enjoy different views as you go up the southwest side and come down from south side

More authentic mountian experience because you sleep in tents and eat under a dinner tent

ITINERARY

☻ Day 1:Machame Gate to Machame Camp

☻ Day 2: Machame Camp to Shira Camp

☻ Day 3: Shira Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp

☻ Day 4: Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp

☻ Day 5: Summit Day! Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp

☻ Day 6: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate to Moshi/Arusha

GOOD TO KNOWPayment

A deposit of 10% is required when booking this tour. The remaining balance will be charged 30 days prior departure. For any bookings within 45 days of departure, the
full tour amount will be charged upon booking.

CANCELLATION

Free cancellation up to 30 days prior departure. No refund applicable within 30 days of departure.
